WHO WE ARE

Fundatia ADEPT Transilvania (www.fundatia-adept.org) works to protect the High Nature Value farmed landscapes in Romania, and to support the traditional farming communities who manage them today. ADEPT achieves this by working with farmers, local communities, universities, other NGOs, and governments at all levels. For 10 years ADEPT has been carrying out an integrated programme linking economic and social benefits with biodiversity conservation, and raising local capacity for good management in the future. ADEPT’s work includes pure biodiversity conservation, policy work with governments and farm advisory services.

WHAT WE DO IN STACCATO

ADEPT cooperate with other Romanian partners to:

• develop field-methodology
• identify field plots for experiments
• identify and visit Romanian stakeholders, especially farmers and ministries
• design Romanian language project materials
• together with partners, organise and carry out a final project seminar
